You clicked on this article because of two scenarios:
You can't play
- at all
- a linked / invited matched
First of all, make sure your device is updated to the newest iOS version.
Then, if your issue still continues, read ahead :
1. You can't play at all
So this scenario shouldn't happen at all - and we want to help you play as quick as possible!
Try to force-close the game and restart. Try to match again, and see if the issue still is there. If there's still an issue with playing, try un- and re-installing the game and try to match again.
If there's still an issue when you press "PLAY" just to play a normal match, please let us know on clash_support@triband.net what the issue is, and consider these questions:
- Are you stuck in the menu? When you click 'Play' is it here where "nothing happens" ?
- Are you stuck in match-making? It goes into the match-making screen, but never matches with anyone?
- Does the whole game freeze? Is the hand still animated, or is the whole App frozen? Where did it freeze?
Letting us know these details, sending a screenshot or video recording of the issue helps us identify and fix it as fast as possible.
2. You can't play when linking to someone / playing an invited match
Usually, the pop-up error message will let you know what issue you're having. If you're in doubt about what's going on, here's a few things to check first:
- Are you connected to the same internet? Are you connected to the internet at all?
If no, then try to connect to the internet and try to match again. - Is both of your Bluetooth on?
If no, turn on your Bluetooth and try to match again. - Are you both signed into Game Center?
If no, both sign into your Game Center accounts and and try to match again. - Are there any restrictions on your device?
If you try to match, and there are restrictions, the pop-up error message should specify which Setting you should adjust! It could e.g. be parental time restrictions or personal settings that restrict from multiplayer games. - Do you connect, and then get thrown off the match?
If yes, make sure you check the above points first, and if you still cannot connect to the person you're inviting to a match, let us know on clash_support@triband.net
